Haywah ibn Shurayh narrated to us, saying: Baqiyyah narrated to us, from Bahir, from Khalid ibn Ma‘dan, from al-Miqdam ibn Ma‘di Karib, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: “Allah enjoins you to care for your mothers; then He enjoins you to care for your mothers; then He enjoins you to care for your fathers; then He enjoins you to care for the nearest relative, and then the next nearest.”
