Bishr related to us: ‘Abd Allah related to us: ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Mawhab related to us, who said: My paternal uncle, ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Mawhab, related to me: I heard Abu Hurayrah say that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “No Muslim is pricked by a thorn in this world, bearing it with the hope of reward, but some of his sins will be taken away through it on the Day of Resurrection.”
