‘Umar related to us: my father related to us: al-A‘mash related to us: Abu Sufyan related to me, from Jabir, who said: I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: “There is no believing man or believing woman, Muslim man or Muslim woman, who falls ill with an illness but that Allah thereby removes some of their sins.”
