Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ.
Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from al-Zuhri, from Malik ibn Aws, from ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘We are not inherited from; what we leave is charity.’
