Translation

Adam narrated to us, saying: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Suhayb, who said: I heard Anas say: Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) entered the privy, he would say: ‘O Allah, I seek refuge in You from male and female devils.’ Ibn 'Ar'ar explained this through Shu'bah. Ghundar reported from Shu'bah: ‘when he came to the privy.’ Musa reported from Hammad: ‘when he entered.’ Sa'id ibn Zayd said: 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us: ‘when he intended to enter.’
