Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَذْبَحُ وَيَنْحَرُ بِالْمُصَلَّى.
Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Bukayr narrated to us: al-Layth narrated to us, from Kathīr ibn Farqad, from Nāfiʿ, that Ibn ʿUmar (may God be pleased with them both) informed him, saying: “The Messenger of God ﷺ used to slaughter and sacrifice camels at the prayer ground.”
