Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم { إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلاَثَةً فَلاَ يَتَنَاجَى رَجُلاَنِ دُونَ الآخَرِ، حَتَّى تَخْتَلِطُوا بِالنَّاسِ، أَجْلَ أَنْ يُحْزِنَهُ}.
Translation
Uthman narrated to us: Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Abu Wail, from Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When you are three, two men should not converse privately apart from the third, until you are among other people, lest it grieve him.
