حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ مَنْ حَلَفَ مِنْكُمْ فَقَالَ فِي حَلِفِهِ بِاللاَّتِ وَالْعُزَّى‏.‏ فَلْيَقُلْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ‏.‏ وَمَنْ قَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ تَعَالَ أُقَامِرْكَ‏.‏ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ ‏"‏‏.‏

Translation

Yahya ibn Bukayr narrated to us: al-Layth narrated to us, from Uqayl, from Ibn Shihab, who said: Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman informed me that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If any of you takes an oath and says in it, ‘By al-Lat and al-Uzza,’ let him say, ‘There is no god but Allah.’ And if anyone says to his companion, ‘Come, let us gamble,’ let him give charity.
