Muhammad ibn Mahbub narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, saying: al-Amash narrated to us, from Salim ibn Abi al-Jad, from Kurayb, the client of Ibn Abbas, from Ibn Abbas, who said: Maymunah said: “I put out water for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to bathe. He poured it over his hands and washed them two or three times, then poured water with his right hand onto his left and washed his private parts. He rubbed his hand on the ground, then rinsed his mouth and sniffed water into his nose. He washed his face and hands, then washed his head three times, poured water over his body, moved away from where he had stood, and washed his feet.”
