Sahih al-Bukhari 254
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي جُبَيْرُ بْنُ مُطْعِمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلاَثًا ". وَأَشَارَ بِيَدَيْهِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا.
Translation
Abu Nuaym narrated to us, saying: Zuhayr narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: Sulayman ibn Surad narrated to me, saying: Jubayr ibn Mutim narrated to me, saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “As for me, I pour water over my head three times.” He gestured with both hands.
