حَدَّثَنَا خَلاَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، سَمِعَ الْبَرَاءَ، رضى الله عنه قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ {وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ} فِي الْعِشَاءِ، وَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا أَحْسَنَ صَوْتًا مِنْهُ أَوْ قِرَاءَةً.

Al-Bara reported: I heard the Prophet recite By the fig and the olive during the night prayer. I never heard anyone with a more beautiful voice or recitation than his.
