Mu‘alla bin Asad narrated to us: Wuhaib narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilaba, from Malik bin al-Huwairith, who said: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a group of my people and stayed with him for twenty nights. He was compassionate and kind. When he saw how much we longed for our families, he said, ‘Return to your people, stay among them, teach them, and pray. When the time for prayer comes, one of you should call the prayer, and the oldest among you should lead you.’
