Sahih al-Bukhari 661
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا فَقَالَ نَعَمْ، أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ بَعْدَ مَا صَلَّى فَقَالَ " صَلَّى النَّاسُ وَرَقَدُوا وَلَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مُنْذُ انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا " . قَالَ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ.

Qutaiba narrated to us: Isma‘il bin Ja‘far narrated to us, from Humayd, who said: Anas was asked whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wore a ring. He replied, ‘Yes. One night he delayed the night prayer until halfway through the night. After praying, he turned toward us and said, “The people have prayed and gone to sleep, while you have remained in prayer since you began waiting for it.”’ Anas said: I can almost see the gleam of his ring.
