The merits of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab رضي الله عنه

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِمَا زِلْنَا أَعِزَّةً مُنْذُ أَسْلَمَ عُمَرُ.
Translation
Narrated `Abdullah
We have been powerful since `Umar embraced Islam.
