Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلاَقَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرًا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُبَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاشْتَرَطَ عَلَىَّ وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ.
Translation
Narrated Jarir
When I gave the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he stipulated that I should give good advice to every Muslim.
