حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ بَاعَ نَخْلاً قَدْ أُبِّرَتْ فَثَمَرَتُهَا لِلْبَائِعِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ ".
Translation
ʿAbd Allah ibn Yusuf informed us; Malik informed us, from Nafiʿ, from ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever sells date palms that have been pollinated, their fruit belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise.”
