Sahih al-Bukhari 2723
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ، وَلاَ تَنَاجَشُوا، وَلاَ يَزِيدَنَّ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ، وَلاَ يَخْطُبَنَّ عَلَى خِطْبَتِهِ، وَلاَ تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَسْتَكْفِئَ إِنَاءَهَا ".
Musaddad narrated to us; Yazid ibn Zurayʿ narrated to us; Maʿmar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Saʿid, from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet, who said: “A townsman must not sell on behalf of a desert dweller. Do not engage in artificial bidding. No one should outbid his brother’s sale, propose marriage over his brother’s proposal, or ask a woman to divorce her sister so that he may take her place.”
