Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَسْتَفْرِغَ صَحْفَتَهَا، وَلْتَنْكِحْ، فَإِنَّ لَهَا مَا قُدِّرَ لَهَا ".
Translation
Abdullah ibn Yusuf narrated to us; Malik informed us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-Araj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘A woman must not ask for her sister's divorce in order to take over what is in her vessel. Let her marry; she will have what has been allotted to her.’
