Translation

Al-Miswar ibn Makhrama reported that the Messenger of Allah distributed some cloaks and gave none to Makhrama. Makhrama said, “My son, let us go to the Messenger of Allah.” I went with him. He told me, “Go in and call him for me.” I called him, and he came out wearing one of the cloaks. He said, “I kept this one for you.” Makhrama looked at it and was pleased.
