Sahih al-Bukhari 5882
Aisha reported that Asma’s necklace was lost, so the Prophet sent some men to look for it. Prayer time came while they had no ablution and could find no water, so they prayed without ablution. They told the Prophet about it, and Allah revealed the verse on dry ablution. Ibn Numayr’s version from Hisham, from his father, from Aisha says that Aisha had borrowed the necklace from Asma.
