حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ الْخَمْرُ يُصْنَعُ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ مِنَ الزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْعَسَلِ.
Translation
Ḥafṣ ibn ʿUmar narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī al-Safar, from al-Shaʿbī, from Ibn ʿUmar, from ʿUmar, who said: “Wine is made from five things: raisins, dates, wheat, barley, and honey.”
