Muhammad ibn Mihran narrated to us; he said: Al-Walid narrated to us; he said: Ibn Numayr informed us; he heard Ibn Shihab, from ‘Urwah, from ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited aloud in the eclipse prayer. When he finished reciting, he said the takbir and bowed. When he rose from the bowing, he said: ‘Allah hears whoever praises Him; our Lord, to You is praise.’ Then he resumed recitation in the eclipse prayer: four bowings in two units and four prostrations. Al-Awza‘i and others said: I heard al-Zuhri, from ‘Urwah, from ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), that the sun was eclipsed during the Messenger of Allah’s lifetime. He sent someone to call: ‘The prayer is to be convened.’ He came forward and prayed four bowings in two units and four prostrations. ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Numayr informed me that he heard Ibn Shihab report the same. Al-Zuhri said: I said, ‘What did your brother, ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, do? He prayed only two units like the morning prayer when he prayed in Madinah.’ He said: ‘Yes, he went against the Sunnah.’ Sufyan ibn Husayn and Sulayman ibn Kathir corroborated him from al-Zuhri concerning the recitation being aloud.

The Arabic shifts into a report attributed to al-Awza‘i and others and then quotes ‘I heard al-Zuhri’; the first-person voice belongs to that transmitter report.
Is the first-person ‘I heard’ properly attributed to al-Awza‘i and the other transmitters in this passage?
