Translation

Ibn Numayr said: ʿUbayd Allah narrated to us, from Nafiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: One of his horses strayed, and the enemy seized it. The Muslims gained the upper hand over them, and it was returned to him during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). One of his slaves also fled and joined the Byzantines. The Muslims gained the upper hand over them, and Khalid ibn al-Walid returned the slave to him after the Prophet (ﷺ).
