حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ، أَخَذَ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَجَعَلَهَا فِي فِيهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالْفَارِسِيَّةِ " كَخٍ كَخٍ ، أَمَا تَعْرِفُ أَنَّا لاَ نَأْكُلُ الصَّدَقَةَ ".
Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Ghundar narrated to us: Shuʿba narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him), that al-Hasan ibn ʿAli took a date from the dates of charity and put it in his mouth. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him in Persian, “Kakh, kakh! Do you not know that we do not eat charity?”
