ʿAbdullah ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab narrated to us: Khalid ibn al-Harith narrated to us: Shuʿba narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Zayd, from Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him: A Jewish woman brought the Prophet ﷺ a poisoned sheep, and he ate from it. She was brought in, and it was said: “Shall we kill her?” He said: “No.” I continued to notice its effect in the uvula of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
