Muslim ibn Ibrahim narrated to us: Hisham and Shuʿba narrated to us, both saying: Qatada narrated to us, from Saʿid ibn al-Musayyab, from Ibn ʿAbbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said: The Prophet ﷺ said: “One who takes back his gift is like one who returns to his vomit.”
