Sahih al-Bukhari 6176
حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ وَفْدُ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَرْحَبًا بِالْوَفْدِ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا غَيْرَ خَزَايَا وَلاَ نَدَامَى ". فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا حَىٌّ مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ وَبَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مُضَرُ، وَإِنَّا لاَ نَصِلُ إِلَيْكَ إِلاَّ فِي الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ، فَمُرْنَا بِأَمْرٍ فَصْلٍ نَدْخُلُ بِهِ الْجَنَّةَ، وَنَدْعُو بِهِ مَنْ وَرَاءَنَا. فَقَالَ " أَرْبَعٌ وَأَرْبَعٌ أَقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ، وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ، وَصَوْمُ رَمَضَانَ، وَأَعْطُوا خُمُسَ مَا غَنِمْتُمْ، وَلاَ تَشْرَبُوا فِي الدُّبَّاءِ، وَالْحَنْتَمِ، وَالنَّقِيرِ، وَالْمُزَفَّتِ ".
Imran ibn Maysarah narrated to us: Abd al-Warith narrated to us: Abu al-Tayyah narrated to us, from Abu Jamrah, from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said: When the delegation of Abd al-Qays came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: Welcome to the delegation who have come without disgrace or regret. They said: Messenger of Allah, we are a branch of Rabi'ah, and Mudar lies between us and you. We can reach you only during the sacred months. Give us a decisive instruction by which we may enter Paradise and which we may call those behind us to follow. He said: Four things and four things: establish the prayer, give the zakat, fast Ramadan, and give one fifth of the war booty you acquire. Do not drink from vessels made from gourds, green glazed jars, hollowed tree trunks, or pitch-coated containers.
