Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih al-Bukhari 1530
Muʿalla ibn Asad related to us: Wuhayb related to us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Tawus, from his father, from Ibn ʿAbbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Prophet ﷺ set Dhu al-Hulayfa for the people of Medina, al-Juhfa for the people of Syria, Qarn al-Manazil for the people of Najd, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. These are for their people and for anyone else who comes by them intending Hajj or ʿumra. Whoever is nearer than that begins where he sets out; even the people of Mecca begin from Mecca.’
