Sahih al-Bukhari 1587
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ " إِنَّ هَذَا الْبَلَدَ حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ، لاَ يُعْضَدُ شَوْكُهُ، وَلاَ يُنَفَّرُ صَيْدُهُ، وَلاَ يَلْتَقِطُ لُقَطَتَهُ إِلاَّ مَنْ عَرَّفَهَا ".

Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us; Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from Mansur, from Mujahid, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said: On the day of the Conquest of Mecca, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah has made this city a sanctuary. Its thorny plants are not to be cut, its game is not to be startled, and its lost property is not to be picked up except by someone who will announce it.
