Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih al-Bukhari 1523
Yahya ibn Bishr related to us: Shababa related to us, from Warqaʾ, from ʿAmr ibn Dinar, from ʿIkrima, from Ibn ʿAbbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: The people of Yemen used to perform Hajj without taking provisions, saying, ‘We are those who rely on Allah.’ When they arrived in Mecca, they would ask people for help. Then Allah Most High revealed: ‘Provide for yourselves; the best provision is mindfulness of Allah.’ Ibn ʿUyayna related it from ʿAmr, from ʿIkrima, as a mursal report.’
