Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih al-Bukhari 1526
Musaddad related to us: Hammad related to us, from ʿAmr ibn Dinar, from Tawus, from Ibn ʿAbbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set Dhu al-Hulayfa for the people of Medina, al-Juhfa for the people of Syria, Qarn al-Manazil for the people of Najd, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. These are for them and for whoever comes by them from outside their communities intending Hajj or ʿumra. Whoever is nearer than those places begins ihram from his own people/home; the people of Mecca likewise begin ihram from there.’
