Sahih al-Bukhari 5508
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كُنَّا مُحَاصِرِينَ قَصْرَ خَيْبَرَ، فَرَمَى إِنْسَانٌ بِجِرَابٍ فِيهِ شَحْمٌ، فَنَزَوْتُ لآخُذَهُ، فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ مِنْهُ.

Abū al-Walīd narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Ḥumayd ibn Hilāl, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Mughaffal (may God be pleased with him), who said: “We were besieging the fortress of Khaybar when someone threw down a leather bag containing fat. I sprang to grab it, then turned and saw the Prophet ﷺ, so I felt ashamed in front of him.”
