حَدَّثَنَا خَلاَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ الْمُنْذِرِ، امْرَأَتِي عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَتْ نَحَرْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرَسًا فَأَكَلْنَاهُ.

Khallād ibn Yaḥyā narrated to us: Sufyān narrated to us, from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah, who said: My wife Fāṭimah daughter of al-Mundhir informed me, from Asmāʾ daughter of Abū Bakr (may God be pleased with them both), who said: “In the time of the Prophet ﷺ, we slaughtered a horse and ate it.”
