Sahih al-Bukhari 6384
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفَرٍ فَكُنَّا إِذَا عَلَوْنَا كَبَّرْنَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ارْبَعُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ، فَإِنَّكُمْ لاَ تَدْعُونَ أَصَمَّ وَلاَ غَائِبًا، وَلَكِنْ تَدْعُونَ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا ". ثُمَّ أَتَى عَلَىَّ وَأَنَا أَقُولُ فِي نَفْسِي لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ. فَقَالَ " يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ قَيْسٍ قُلْ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا. كَنْزٌ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ ". أَوْ قَالَ " أَلاَ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى كَلِمَةٍ هِيَ كَنْزٌ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ، لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ".
Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu Uthman, from Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: We were traveling with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Whenever we ascended, we would proclaim Allah’s greatness. The Prophet said, ‘People, be gentle with yourselves. You are not calling someone deaf or absent; you are calling One who hears and sees.’ Then he came to me while I was saying to myself, ‘There is no power and no strength except through Allah.’ He said, ‘Abdullah ibn Qays, say: There is no power and no strength except through Allah, for it is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.’ Or he said, ‘Shall I guide you to a phrase that is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise? There is no power and no strength except through Allah.’
