Sahih al-Bukhari 68
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَخَوَّلُنَا بِالْمَوْعِظَةِ فِي الأَيَّامِ، كَرَاهَةَ السَّآمَةِ عَلَيْنَا.
Translation
Muhammad ibn Yusuf narrated to us, saying: Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Wa'il, from Ibn Mas'ud, who said: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to choose suitable times to exhort us, on different days, out of concern that we might become weary.
