Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih al-Bukhari 64
Ismail ibn Abdullah narrated to us. He said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to me, from Salih, from Ibn Shihab, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utba ibn Mas'ud, that Abdullah ibn Abbas informed him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a man with his letter and instructed him to deliver it to the ruler of Bahrain. The ruler of Bahrain passed it on to Kisra. When Kisra read it, he tore it up. I think Ibn al-Musayyab said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed against them, that they be torn apart utterly.
