Qutaybah narrated to us; al-Layth narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that the compensation for the fetus of a woman from Banu Lihyan, who was miscarried dead, was a male or female slave. Then the woman against whom the compensation had been ruled died, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that her inheritance belonged to her children and husband, and that the blood compensation was the responsibility of her paternal relatives.
