Musaddad narrated to us: Yahya ibn Saʿid narrated to us, from Fudayl ibn Ghazwan, from Ibn Abi Nuʿm, from Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him), who said: I heard Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) say, “Whoever slanders his enslaved person, when that person is innocent of what he says, will be flogged on the Day of Resurrection, unless the accusation is true.”
Notes and open questions — unreviewed
