Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih al-Bukhari 3935
Musaddad narrated to us: Yazid ibn Zuray narrated to us: Maʿmar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Urwa, from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: “Prayer was prescribed as two rakahs. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) emigrated, and it was prescribed as four; the travel prayer remained as it had originally been.” Abd al-Razzaq corroborated this report from Maʿmar.
