حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَمَعَهَا صَبِيٌّ لَهَا، فَكَلَّمَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، إِنَّكُمْ أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَىَّ ". مَرَّتَيْنِ.
Yaʿqub ibn Ibrahim ibn Kathir narrated to us: Bahz ibn Asad narrated to us: Shuʿba narrated to us. He said: Hisham ibn Zayd informed me: I heard Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, say: A woman from the Helpers came to the Messenger of Allah with her child. The Messenger of Allah spoke to her and said, “By Him in Whose hand is my soul, you are the people dearest to me,” repeating it twice.
