Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، قَالَ فَتْرَةٌ بَيْنَ عِيسَى وَمُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم سِتُّمِائَةِ سَنَةٍ.
Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Mudrik narrated to me: Yahya ibn Hammad narrated to us: Abu Awana informed us, from Asim al-Ahwal, from Abu Uthman, from Salman, who said: “The interval between Isa and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was six hundred years.”
