Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِيَاسٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ عَيْشَ إِلاَّ عَيْشُ الآخِرَةِ، فَأَصْلِحِ الأَنْصَارَ وَالْمُهَاجِرَةَ " . وَعَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِثْلَهُ، وَقَالَ فَاغْفِرْ لِلأَنْصَارِ.
Translation
Adam narrated to us: Shuʿba narrated to us: Abu Iyas narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah said, “There is no life but the life of the Hereafter, so grant well-being to the Helpers and the Emigrants.” From Qatada, from Anas, from the Prophet, a similar report has the wording, “Forgive the Helpers.”
