Sahih al-Bukhari 5655

Ḥajjāj ibn Minhāl narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated to us; he said: ʿĀṣim informed me; he said: I heard Abū ʿUthmān, from Usāmah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both): “A daughter of the Prophet ﷺ sent for him while I was with the Prophet ﷺ, Saʿd, and—so we think—Ubayy. She said, ‘I believe my child is at the point of death, so come to us.’ He sent her greetings and said, ‘What Allah takes and what He gives belong to Him, and everything has an appointed term with Him. Let her seek her reward and be patient.’ She sent for him again, adjuring him to come. The Prophet ﷺ stood, and we stood with him. The child was lifted into the Prophet’s ﷺ lap, while its breath rattled. The Prophet’s ﷺ eyes overflowed with tears. Saʿd said to him, ‘What is this, Messenger of Allah?’ He said, ‘This is mercy that Allah has placed in the hearts of whichever of His servants He wills. Allah shows mercy only to the merciful among His servants.’”
