Sahih al-Bukhari 1811
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ، وَأَمَرَ أَصْحَابَهُ بِذَلِكَ.
Translation
Mahmud narrated to us; Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us; Maamar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Urwa, from al-Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah sacrificed his offering before shaving his head and instructed his Companions to do the same.
