Allah's Statement: "Verily, We have sent revelation to you, (O Muhammad ﷺ ) ... (till) ... as We sent revelation to Nuh (Noah) and Yunus (Jonah), Hãrün (Aaron) and Sulaimãn (Solomon)..." (V.4:163)
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ "مَا يَنْبَغِي لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى "
Translation
Narrated `Abdullah
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "None has the right to say that I am better than Jonah bin Matta."
