Arabic hadith text
وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ـ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ ـ رَأَى أَبَاهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَيْهِ الْغَبَرَةُ وَالْقَتَرَةُ ". الْغَبَرَةُ هِيَ الْقَتَرَةُ.
Translation
Ibrahim ibn Tahman said, from Ibn Abi Dhiʾb, from Saʿid ibn Abi Saʿid al-Maqburi, from his father, from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said, “Abraham (peace be upon him) will see his father on the Day of Resurrection with dust and gloom upon him.” Al-ghabara is al-qatarah.
