حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ {كَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَى الْمُقْتَسِمِينَ} قَالَ آمَنُوا بِبَعْضٍ وَكَفَرُوا بِبَعْضٍ، الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى.

Ubaydullah ibn Musa related to me, from al-A‘mash, from Abu Zabyan, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), concerning the words, “Just as We sent down upon those who divide” (Qur’an 15:90). He said: “They believed in some and disbelieved in some: the Jews and Christians.”
