Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ عَمَّارٌ فَضَرَبَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ الأَرْضَ، فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَكَفَّيْهِ.
Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Ghundar narrated to us: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Dharr, from Ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza, from his father, who said that Ammar said: The Prophet struck the ground with his hand and wiped his face and hands.
