Sahih al-Bukhari 5369
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَةِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لِي مِنْ أَجْرٍ فِي بَنِي أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنْ أُنْفِقَ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَلَسْتُ بِتَارِكَتِهِمْ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا، إِنَّمَا هُمْ بَنِيَّ. قَالَ " نَعَمْ لَكِ أَجْرُ مَا أَنْفَقْتِ عَلَيْهِمْ ".
Musa ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us: Wuhaib narrated to us: Hisham informed us, from his father, from Zaynab, daughter of Abu Salamah, from Umm Salamah, who said: I asked, “Messenger of God, will I have a reward for spending on the children of Abu Salamah? I am not going to leave them in such a state; they are my sons.” He said, “Yes. You will have the reward for what you spend on them.”
