Sahih al-Bukhari 6526
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ " إِنَّكُمْ مَحْشُورُونَ حُفَاةً عُرَاةً {كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ} الآيَةَ، وَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ الْخَلاَئِقِ يُكْسَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ، وَإِنَّهُ سَيُجَاءُ بِرِجَالٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي، فَيُؤْخَذُ بِهِمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ. فَأَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ أُصَيْحَابِي. فَيَقُولُ إِنَّكَ لاَ تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ. فَأَقُولُ كَمَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ {وَكُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {الْحَكِيمُ} قَالَ فَيُقَالُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَزَالُوا مُرْتَدِّينَ عَلَى أَعْقَابِهِمْ ".
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to me; Ghundar narrated to us; Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Mughirah ibn al-Nu'man, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stood among us and preached: ‘You will be gathered barefoot and unclothed, just as We began the first creation, so shall We repeat it; and the first of creation to be clothed on the Day of Resurrection will be Abraham. Some men from my community will then be brought and taken to the left. I will call upon my Lord about my companions. He will tell me that I do not know what they introduced after me. I will respond with the words of the righteous servant, that he was a witness over them as long as he remained among them, through the phrase the All-Wise. Then it will be said that they kept turning back on their heels.’
